«Moscow — Tokyo» Train
Center for creative industries “Fabrika” presents the project of Valeriya Sanchilo (waneella) «Moscow – Tokyo» Train» – a multimedia installation that includes video projections, sound and art objects created in the pixel art technique. The exhibition is a fantasy of the artist on the topic of how such an important and irreplaceable aspect of life as long-distance travel may look in the future: “Right now, humanity is in the process of colliding with the need to change the norms and ways of life.
Sometimes changes and progress are difficult for us, and it is tough for people to understand and accept the new reality.”
In the near future, after numerous typhoons, fires, floods and pandemics, climate change, environmental and epidemiological deterioration reached all countries, leaving no one indifferent or doubtful.
Humanity was forced to abandon the use of fuel-based modes of transport and switch to electricity, laying a huge network of Railways and monorails. The main transport for long-distance travel has become an electric train, which allows for sufficient distance between passengers to comply with the new sanitary standards. Now, to get from West to East, you need to pass through Moscow – an important transport hub.
Among the most popular destinations is the Moscow – Tokyo train, which passes through the rapidly developing countries of Central and East Asia.
